How does billing work for non-US customers?

Q&A regarding VAT, currency conversions, and our business locations.

While we are based in the US, our software allows you to analyze content across various countries. As a result, our software is available for purchase from any country.

Our international customers often have a few specific questions:

Do you collect VAT?

Content Harmony is a non-EU provider, and we do not currently have VAT registration. VAT will not be applied to any Content Harmony charges or invoices. Instead, your business should account for VAT using a reverse charge basis.

What is the currency weโ€™re charged in?

Content Harmony is a US-based company, so we charge in US Dollars. Unfortunately, this means we donโ€™t have control over the exchange rate youโ€™re charged. Your bank or credit card provider will set any exchange rates and fees.

Our payments are all handled by Stripe.com, so you can expect them to be processed similarly to other SaaS services that you use.

Can you confirm that you don't have business locations, employees, or operations in my country?

Content Harmony is a US-based company. All employees or subcontractors we employ are based in the US or Canada, or subcontracted through firms based in the US.

Customers can email us for a copy of a US W-9 tax form if needed to support their internal documentation.

Unfortunately, we operate with a small team and cannot complete custom documentation for customers related to international tax matters.
