Content Marketing Strategist:

Job Description: We're looking for a full-time Content Marketing Strategist to lead client strategy for 2-4 clients at our growing internet marketing agency.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • 40% – Account Strategy – Your largest role will be driving account strategy for the clients you manage. This can span a variety of service areas we cover, but will almost always tie back to the larger content strategy for the account.
  • 30% – Content Creation – Producing content projects for clients and creating them on your own or with the assistance of a writer, graphic designer, or other creative team members. Creating writer’s prompts and scheduling freelance writers for client blog content. Editing and enforcing our internal content standards. This will range from small projects like blog posts to much larger content projects.
  • 30% – Content Promotion - Coming up with promotional strategies for clients and implementing them on your own or with the assistance of a junior team member. Our promotional programs typically involve paid and organic social media, SEO, PR & outreach, and email marketing.
Desired Experience:
  • 1-3+ years agency experience preferred, willing to consider qualified candidates with 2-4+ years in-house marketing experience.
  • Background in PR, SEO, marketing, or similar field
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of the internet in general - you should have a very solid understanding of what makes the internet tick.
  • Excellent understanding of content marketing strategy and content production.
  • Basic/working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Solid understanding of content-related SEO concepts
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics - you'll need to be GA-certified within 6 months of starting.
  • Flexibility - we work with clients big and small - one minute you might be managing creative strategy for a national company, and the next moment you might be building out a landing page strategy for a 10-person startup - that's simply the nature of our business.
  • Organization - Candidate needs the ability to stay on top of multiple projects at once and still get things done.
  • Reliable and responsible candidates are a must - we deal with clients daily and our actions have a direct impact on their business, good or bad.

Content Harmony is a content marketing company based in Seattle, WA. We help clients create and promote content that helps their business grow.

The Content Harmony team is looking for an Junior Editorial Intern to help produce articles for client web sites.

You’ll get paid experience working directly with our team and clients, and new work to add to your portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • 60% Content Production - Working in WordPress, you'll help prep our client's pieces for publication by building text and images and checking for errors.
  • 40% Writing & Editing - You'll get a chance to write and assemble curated content pieces for clients and sites we manage.
Desired Experience:
  • Solid grammar and spelling skills, and the ability to spot grammar and spelling mistakes. Applicants will be given a sample and asked to demonstrate these skills.
  • Published writing is great but not required—academic work would be fine to submit as a sample.

About The Position:

We're looking for a full-time writer to write about marketing topics for our clients and for the Content Harmony blog.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • 100% - Content Creation - Leverage your own knowledge, and research new topics, to create blog posts and resource pages about marketing for Content Harmony and our clients.
Desired Experience:
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience, including intermediate to advanced familiarity with topics like: SEO, content marketing, email marketing, CRO, web design, PPC & paid social advertising, or others.
  • Some writing experience, whether job-related, as a freelancer, or for your own blog.
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to research and write quality pieces quickly.
  • Can research and set up interviews with minimal supervision. You should enjoy being inquisitive.
  • Able to handle basic photography and design tasks (no need to be an expert).
